Originally, when I started the station in 2020, it was 70s, 80s, and 90s. Then I got some pressure from the "rating people" to get rid of the 70s and 90s and specialize in 80s only. I fought it for a while, and then decided, ok I'd rather be the BEST at one thing, then "mediocre" in several things. It killed me to get rid of the 90s alternative and especially the 90s Eurodance, but I did. Within a week I was granted the title, "The #1 80s Streaming Station in the USA". It was awesome!
Re-opening the station in 2024, I decided to play all of the music I love. So I am playing 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s. Although I specialize in the 80s, and I have a deep catalog of 80s music, I also love the other genres. I play everything from:
70s Classic Disco and Slow Jams, to Classic Rock from the 70s.
80s Dance, Freestyle, and Disco, 80s New Wave, Pop and R&B.
90s Alternative, 90s Eurodance, Freestyle, 90s Pop & House Music.
2000 Pop Hits
I fought the "rating people" and they allowed me to keep the other genre's and still granted me "The #1 80s Streaming Station in the USA" title, since we play MOSTLY 80s.
